Vlad Postolachi is an enterprising UX Designer who combines tech knowledge with business acumen to create next-gen products.
Attentive. Multitalented. Adaptable. These adjectives paint some picture of who I am. Others would even say “with his head in the clouds”. But who am I to blame them? Not everyone is born a visionary.
I’ve always been driven by idealistic world views. I chase potential in everything I touch. That explains why I always pursued learning more. Doing more. Being a jack of all trades. It’s a personal philosophy that pushed my interests towards the crossroads of three different fields — business, tech and design.
Visual arts have long inspired me. Initially drawn to sketching, I transitioned to graphic design to bring my form of expression to the “next-level”. That led to 7+ years of experimenting as a freelancer while cultivating fundamental design intuition.
Freelancing means you’re part-designer, full-businessman. The former I had, so what about the latter? I delved into the world of business since high school, going well into my university studies on the same path of enlightenment. My degree in Business & Computer Science continuously pushes me to apply business acumen and tech knowledge within entrepreneurial contexts.
With that, there’s one thing I found in my story. I love making things. Specifically products or services that someone loves. It’s thrilling to see people appreciate the passion you put into something tailored to them. I pursued a Professional Diploma in UX Design to see exactly what constitutes the perfect product.
Because I’m dedicated to create an ideal which nobody has yet envisioned.
With Tapacar I performed competitive benchmarking, flow design and rapid prototyping to empower Amazon's return-to-office scheme through an employee carpooling service.
